Warren Buffett and his team at Berkshire Hathaway have a collection of stocks in their portfolio. Some are well-known companies, while others are newer and less famous. Let’s take a closer look at all the Warren Buffett stocks.
The Berkshire Hathaway portfolio has gone through some big changes recently. While traditional favorites like American Express and Coca-Cola still make up a significant part of the portfolio, Buffett and his team have also added newer names like Apple and Amazon, along with lesser-known companies like Snowflake and Nu Holdings.
One thing that hasn’t changed is Buffett’s preference for keeping the portfolio focused. The top five holdings make up 78% of the portfolio’s total value, and the top ten account for 90%. However, the types of companies in those top spots have shifted in response to changes in the investment landscape brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of 2020, Buffett held airline stocks, but now he has none. Banks were among his top picks in early 2020, but he has reduced his exposure to them in the past couple of years. And while he was once enthusiastic about select pharmaceutical companies, most of those positions have been closed out.
